I’ve been keeping pretty busy lately and wanting to update about what I’ve been up to, but I’m really holding off until my new toys come. I had a pretty good Christmas and finally ordered a new computer and camera for myself. Neither have completely stopped working, but my computer is ridiculously slow and breaking down, piece by piece. I don’t think I need to tell you what’s wrong with my camera. Old. Battery-sucker. I don’t even want to imagine how many hundreds of dollars I have spent for batteries for that camera over the past 4 years.
So I ordered a Nikon Coolpix s570 and a Dell Inspiron 14, and I am so stoked for them to get here in the next week.
To keep myself occupied in the interim, I’ve been getting started on some of my New Year’s Resolutions. I’ve been busy crocheting the world’s ugliest scarf, which I will be glad to show you once my camera has arrived. I’m pretty sure that I don’t even have enough yarn to finish it, so I wasn’t too concerned when I realized that I hadn’t counted my stitches properly. Plus, I had crocheted and un-crocheted so many chains with it that the yarn was practically falling apart. I’ll aim for pretty and functional next time.
I’ve also been working on organizing my room. I know that that wasn’t on my list, but it was on the list in my head. I’ve packed so much into this tiny apartment room that it has started to get kind of crowded in here. So I’ve started weeding through everything and tossing out and giving away what I don’t need.
The next thing I want to do is start painting my mini munny and finally get around to using the small canvases I bought over a year ago. And when my camera comes, I want to start posting pictures and recipes of the new things that I’ll hopefully be cooking.
Happy 2010!

Well, first you should figure out whether or not you want anyone to see your blog, then advertise accordingly. If you only want your friends to read it, link back to it on Facebook in your status updates or as a link. If you want a different kind of audience, you will have to advertise differently. Try linking back to your blog in comments that you leave on other peoples’ blogs or websites, or anywhere else that you think it will get some attention, without being too obnoxious about it.
I hope this helps!
